With us you will...
- plan, develop, and continuously improve tailored and complex software solutions together with your team
- take ownership of entire projects, from initial concept through to release, always aligned with the product and customer vision
- collaborate with Product Owners, clients, and stakeholders to define requirements
- actively shape technology choices and architectural decisions
- communicate clearly and reliably with clients, stakeholders, and your team
- understand clients’ needs and address them, not only through software, but also by adapting underlying business processes
- continuously improve our organisation and ways of working through regular syncs and retrospectives, while sharing your knowledge
- actively contribute to shaping our culture, including involvement in internal initiatives (e.g. Spacetime or organisational development)
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- several years of solid experience in developing and taking end-to-end responsibility for complex software systems over extended project durations
- experience across multiple projects beyond pure feature development e.g. involving multiple stakeholders, domain complexity, or tangible impact on client business processes
- the ability to make technical decisions within a team and assess their impact on the overall system
- confidence working across different areas of software development (frontend and backend), with a willingness to take responsibility beyond system boundaries
- experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders (e.g. Product Owners, domain experts, clients) and in requirements engineering
- the ability to structure complex problems and translate them into viable solutions
- an excellent degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification or equivalent practical experience
- very good German language skills (at least C1) for discussing complex domain topics with clients
- good English language skills
- valid work authorisation for Germany (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
- residence in Germany and a general willingness to attend on-site meetings in Hamburg on a regular basis
Nice-to-have:
- you enjoy working collaboratively and see shared responsibility as key to strong outcomes
- experience with larger initiatives (e.g. migrations, system replacements, or complex platform projects) where technical decisions have long-term impact
- familiarity with agile ways of working and a pragmatic approach to change
- initial or advanced experience with cloud or DevOps topics
- active contribution to improving processes and collaboration
- enjoyment in sharing your knowledge and supporting the team
